The British Palomino Society Statement of Zootech recognition after 1 January 2021.
From 1 January 2021, trade with the EU will be on ‘third country’ terms.
As it currently stands, because of the requirement to know the full pedigree of all equines within our registers this means the British Palomino Society is no longer able to extend breeding programmes into EU Member States, nor are we be able to register animals that are not kept in the UK. We would remind you that our passports are ID passports and not breeding passports.

Read MoreThe standard was high, as always, with good numbers in all sections - as well as the fun classes being well supported. A particular favourite being the ‘Best Mane and Tail’, hairdressers were obviously still available to these horses and ponies during lockdown!

Read MoreCongratulations must go to Nicki Carmen Ellis and her lovely Welsh Section D Hendrewen Texas Jubilee Pagent for not only winning the Ridden Championships at the BPS Spring Show, but was also Reserve In-hand Champion, and then finally taking the Best In Show Championship. A very worthy reserve the Best in Show was Jenni Zawadzka with her talentedperlino Andalucian Silva Lowki and Mr and Mrs D Watkins’ Doylan Gold N Psynergy being second reserve having taken the In-hand Supreme Champion. The Colour Championship was awarded to the lovely soft coloured Mr and Mrs P Norris’ homebred Bordesley Golden Tic-Tac.
